What an exhausting day.

Well, for me mostly, since I'm not used to so much walking, but today was very nice.

I met Sam around 9 so that we could go to the mall. We took one of the buses around 10:30 and arrived around 11. We did a bit of exploring the hotel first and finding out where the pool was. It hasn't really changed from the last time I was there. I didn't remember the fitness room or the more secure entry where you had to use the room keycard, plus they retiled it, but I remembered the pool and the jacuzzi. The pool's only about 5 feet deep. Anyway.

We had McDonald's for lunch and it honestly sucked. I told Sam that it was usually a safe bet that their food would be hot (mall food almost never is) and today my instincts were wrong. I had their chicken selects with a Sprite and some BBQ sauce...they were ok. Sam's Big Mac was cold, his Coke wasn't mixed properly and his fries weren't salted enough. We went to Best Buy and Sam brought all sorts of things, like a charger for his PSP, some DVDs, things like that. (Yes Harry we saw Disgaea 3 that you wanted; however Sam brought you something more awesome. *grin*). Sam brought himself Castlevania and Chrono Trigger for the DS and a charger for his iphone from Electronics Boutique and At&T respectively. We looked around for his Ugg slippers but didn't find any. But! And a big but this is, Sam found himself a watch on megasale from Zales! It's quite gorgeous, too, it's a Seiko kinetic on clearance reduced from $450 down to $212.55. Oh hell yes. He'll have pictures up, definetly. I didn't buy anything except for lunch, a calendar and some water. Sam wanted to spoil me but to be honest there's really nothing I want or need or anything that I can think of. Well, there's a few rare games but I can grab them on ebay. >_> I'd like a pair of diamond studs but blimey they're expensive so I doubt I'll ask for them. =/ We browsed for them, yes. I wanted to give Sam a sample of the perfume I liked and wanted, Ur by Usher but they had no samples out which was bad. They had one called Alien by somebody but damn, $450 per bottle!!!!!!

We took the bus back to the front of the hotel and walked back up Elm street to look at NeoTokyo but they're closed so we'll go back tomorrow. When we came back home we watched Mamma Mia and Mulan (which has got to be one of my favorite Disney films) then House again for a bit before we dropped him back off.

It's weird...time seems to have slowed down for me. It's only Monday, I kept thinking it was Tuesday but it's not. I like the slowed down-ness of it. =/ Because at the end of it Sam gets to go back home and I effectively "lose" him for another unspecified amount of time. =/ I just hope not for another 18 months because it SUCKS.
