Slight Misery.

Today was a bit miserable for me. Sam and I hung out in his room at the hotel for a couple hours instead of going out for breakfast as we had originally planned and chatted and watched Lucky Star for a bit. (No, seriously.) We went out to get some money from Sam's card and found out he didn't have enough (!) so he took out a bit less than he planned. We went out for Chinese again at Peking Garden and had the buffet. Their food is not as good and fresh as Thousand Crane. I finally had my tempura battered chicken fingers. ^_^ We also had a wander into Castro's Backroom, the cigar shop on Elm Street. Everything there was a man's world. Men on old, faded, secondhand, 60's style furniture smoking cigars with deep drags. Pinups on the walls, back issues of Playboy stacked on the table, a TV blaring House, everything faded yellow with nicotine, even the owner. Loads of smoke in there. We went inside the glassed in walled room where the cigars were stored and the air was fresher and smelled pleasantly of tobacco. Sam brought 4 cigars in tubes for his mum, he paid and we left, the smell still clinging to us like a last kiss. It's gotten into my jacket, into my hair, my sweater, everywhere. >_< I am quite glad neither of us smokes.

I bought a hairbrush at CVS since I needed one and we went back to the hotel. Sam gave me his rosaries and his scissors so I'll restring them tomorrow. Then we walked back to my house so I could prepare for work. Work today was busy. I was given my drawer to ring on and I stayed up their mostly all day, not getting the chance to work on putting away truck delivery until I switched with Hera, or tried to. Then Hera said that she's leaving in two weeks, which I'm near devastated about, because I'm going to miss her horribly. I counted down my drawer and grabbed some M&Ms and some gum for mum (we had no sparkling cider left which was bad) and then Sam and I watched House and part of Monk for a bit and then we dropped him off and here I am.
