I realised a fatal flaw I have - although I have all these fruit things, I have no forks to eat them! So in a minute I'm getting dressed warm (apparently it's -8˚C at the moment with highs of 1˚C...) and I'll be heading out to the shops and I think I'll grab a breakfast from somewhere as it's my first day :3
Not sure what the plan is for today, Myriam wants me to go to her work and meet everyone - but I don't want to cause any problems for her!
I got some lovely presents from Myriam and her mum and dad - sweets and jerky mainly (!) but Myriam's mum and dad bought me a very nice sweater from Macy's and a nice 300g bar of lindt chocolate with hazelnuts. Short entry this morning, but I'll fill it out later - check out the daytime view from my window on Picasa!
Update: It's 11am now, I went out and grabbed a chicken and bacon ranch sub from subway and it was good. I also bought some hair gel, deodorant and some plastic knives, forks and spoons! it's very, very cold out there - especially on the ears, but nothing I can't handle! Also, I have to add, that ostrich jerky is very nice!
